Homeschool Tutor in Winnipeg — Built Around Your Course of Study
GradeUp pairs your homeschooled child one-on-one with a Winnipeg tutor who builds sessions around the plan you've already set for the year — and every session gets logged in your own parent portal, so you have a running record to draw on. In-home or online, K-12. First session free, no contracts.
Manitoba curriculum experts
Tutors familiar with Manitoba's K-12 curriculum, whatever course of study you're following.
A running record, automatically
Every session is logged in your parent portal — no separate paperwork to keep on top of.
In-home or online
Sessions across every Winnipeg neighbourhood, or online city-wide — switch any time.
No lock-in contracts
Your first session is free and you pay session by session — pause or stop whenever you need to.
Manitoba's homeschool reporting, in plain terms
This is your responsibility as the parent, not something a tutor files for you — but it's worth knowing exactly what's due, since it shapes how a tutoring plan should be built.
Student Notification Form
Filed once a year, notifying Manitoba Education of your intent to homeschool and your planned course of study for each child.
January Progress Report
A mid-year report on how each child is progressing through the course of study you notified for.
June Progress Report
A year-end report closing out the school year. Manitoba connects every homeschooling family with a Liaison Officer to help with all three.
How GradeUp supports a homeschool plan
We're not a substitute for the Liaison Officer relationship, and we don't submit anything on your behalf. What we do is make the actual teaching — and keeping track of it — easier.
Sessions built around your course of study
Tell your tutor what you've planned to cover for the year in a subject, and sessions are structured around that from the start — not a separate curriculum layered on top.
A running record in your portal
Every session gets a recap and a progress update, automatically kept in your own parent portal — something to draw on when you sit down to write your January or June report.
Flexible to how your homeschool runs
Whether you're following a set curriculum, building your own, or homeschooling for a specific reason, the plan adapts to your family instead of the other way around.

Homeschool tutoring questions
No — filing the Student Notification Form and the January/June Progress Reports is the parent's legal responsibility, and Manitoba connects every homeschooling family with a Liaison Officer to help with that. What GradeUp does is build a tutoring plan around your child's actual course of study, and keep a record of what was covered each session in your parent portal — which you can draw on when you write your own reports.
Yes. Many homeschool families use their first consultation to map out what they want to cover for the year in a subject, and the tutor builds sessions around that plan from the start.
Yes. Tell us your situation on the consultation call and we'll match a tutor and pace that fits it — there's no single homeschool format, and the plan is built around your family, not a template.
