Questions Winnipeg parents ask us

Families come to us for all kinds of reasons — falling behind in a subject, prepping for exams, building confidence, or just wanting a head start before the next school year. There's no "right" reason to start.
Your student is matched one-on-one with a screened, background-checked university mentor chosen for their subject expertise and teaching style — not a rotating cast of tutors.
Yes — we offer both online and in-home sessions across Winnipeg, and can switch between the two if your schedule changes mid-term.
Yes, including general science, physics, chemistry and biology at the elementary through high school level.
No. We don't lock families into bulk hours or long-term contracts — you can pause or stop at any time.
Most sessions run 60 minutes, though younger students sometimes start with shorter 45-minute sessions to match attention span. Your mentor can adjust this with you.
We typically follow up within one business day of your consultation request, and can usually schedule a first session within the same week, depending on mentor availability.
In-home availability depends on your neighbourhood and the matched mentor's coverage area. Online sessions are available city-wide regardless of location.
That's common — let us know during your consultation and we'll either match one mentor across related subjects or pair your child with a second mentor as needed.
Your mentor shares periodic progress updates, and you're always welcome to check in directly. If it's not the right fit at any point, we'll rematch your child at no cost.
