We start with a free, no-obligation consultation — about 20 minutes, either by phone or a short form. We ask about your child's current grades, what subject is causing friction, and what's already been tried. If helpful, we'll also look at a recent report card or a sample assignment to see exactly where the gaps are, rather than guessing from a grade level alone.
Matched mentor & plan
Based on that diagnostic, we pair your child with the mentor best suited to their subject, learning style and personality — not just whoever's available first. You'll get your mentor's background before the first session, and the first session itself is risk-free: if it's not the right fit, we rematch you at no cost. Together, mentor and family agree on a simple plan: what to focus on first, and how often to meet.
Milestones & momentum
Every session, your mentor notes what was covered and how your child did — so progress is visible, not just felt. Small wins (a passed quiz, a concept that finally clicked) are called out explicitly, because momentum is what turns short-term progress into long-term academic confidence. You'll hear from your mentor directly with periodic updates, not just a generic invoice.
